Hops was picked up out of a drain, after being hit by a car and left with two broken legs.  His rescuer begged for him and made a contribution to his care.  He was a lovely, friendly little dog who bore his injuries and long period of treatment with good humour and patience.  A special appeal to AWN members helped to cover the considerable cost for his treatment.  We never found his original owner, but he was adopted into a kind home and is now doing very well.
